The outer crust of the canelé is crispy, and the inside is divinely custard-vanilla.
We now crown this experience by putting homemade salted caramel made with crispy crunchy pieces in the top third of the canelé, then piling soft vanilla chantilly on top, dipped in caramel chocolate and sprinkled with crunchy caramel pieces.
